Anik MichaudGroup Director – Corporate Relations and Sustainable Impact, having joined the GMC in 2015. Her remit includes corporate communication (including brand and employee engagement), international and government relations, social performance and engagement, sustainability integration to drive positive impact from the Group’s Sustainable Mining Plan, and the office of the chief executive. Anik joined Anglo American in 2008 as Group head of corporate communication. Prior to that, she was director of public affairs for Rio Tinto Alcan, following 10 years with the Alcan group.
Anik was appointed as a non-executive director of Anglo American Platinum in July 2021.
