DrNick Bowesis the Mayoral Director of Policy, having previously been Director of Policy on Sadiq Khan’s campaign to be Mayor of London. He has worked in senior roles in public affairs and policy for 15 years, including spells with the CBI, EEF and Royal Society, where he was Head of Secretariat for the Advisory Committee on Mathematics Education.
Between 2010 and 2015, Nick was the Special Adviser to Sadiq Khan as Shadow Secretary of State for Justice. Nick has a degree in Mathematics and Geography from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and a Ph.D. in Geography from the University of Sheffield.
