Phil Evansis Director at Bank of England. He took over as Head of DFID Somalia in April 2014.
Career
Phil joined DFID in 1993, having previously worked for the UN and World Bank. He has worked in Africa for many years, including heading DFID’s country offices in Sierra Leone (2011-14), the Democratic Republic of the Congo (2009-11) and Zimbabwe (2007-09).
