Discord to Index Discoverable Servers on the Open Web

The company identified a clear trend: long-form conversations, support queries, and technical deep-dives have increasingly migrated from traditional forums to private Discord channels. By indexing these discussions, Discord intends to make community knowledge discoverable through standard web searches rather than keeping it trapped behind login walls. While the feature is rolling out by default to all Discoverable Servers, the platform is granting administrators the authority to opt specific channels out of this process to maintain privacy where necessary.
