The rollout begins today for Xbox Insiders, with the system tracking progress directly through the Xbox dashboard. A dedicated gaming tab will soon display these milestones alongside Gamerscore totals, while individual game lists now feature a progress bar to highlight remaining tasks required to reach Mythic status. This functionality surfaced last week via a leak in the Xbox PC app, which showcased the feature’s unique unlock sound.

Xbox is rolling out Mythic Achievements, a new tier of completion rewards that mirror the prestige of Sony’s PlayStation Platinum trophies. By earning every original achievement in a title, players now unlock this elite status, a feature that retroactively applies to games already completed, including those from the Xbox 360 era.
This update follows a promise made by Xbox CEO Asha Sharma earlier this year to provide a direct equivalent to the long-standing PlayStation trophy system. Players can expect their profiles to reflect these changes immediately, as the system scans past completion history to automatically grant Mythic status to eligible games.
